Zombies Don't Play SoccerDear Deacon and Cole, I'm so glad you like the Bailey School Kids books. Do you have a favorite? Kaylee, both my son and my husband played hockey. Do you think that's where I got the idea for Frankenstein Doesn't Slam Hockey Pucks? Starla, guess what? I actually went to Egypt for a school visit once and got to go inside a pyramid. That made Mummies Don't Coach Softball pretty special to me. Alex, my kids played a lot of soccer tKing of the Kootieso help me write Zombies Don't Play Soccer with Marcia Jones. It is one of my favorites.
Hadley, I had fun writing King of the Kooties. Have you tried this recipe for kootie p---? Haley, Emma, Adrianna, and Noah-I am delighted you are enjoying my stories. Sam, I am working on a new series. Suzy, I do wacky stuff all the time! Isaiah, the first part of trying to get published is to write a lot. I hope you'll check out my writing page for lots of tips.
Alexis and Emma, I am okay at math (but not great). I do like my dogs, but I need to put a new picture on my website. Bailey and Skip passed away.  I miss them a lot, even though it's been a while. Now we have Carmen and Shadow. Alexis, I'm thrilled that you like my Mermaid Tales stories. Emma, I love to read, do you?  God bless, Debbie

Hi Gina, if the Bailey School Kids scare you, you should Flower Girl Dreamsdefinitely read less scary books. Perhaps you'd like a Mermaid Tales book. To unnamed person and Labada, my webmaster only blocks entries from computers that send inappropriate notes. Olivia, so glad you like the Bailey School Kids books.  Have you read any of the Easter books in that series?
Have a great day, Debbie

Vampires don't Wear Polka DotsHi Ashley! Alex, I'm so glad you enjoyed Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots! Debbie, we never told exactly what state Bailey School is in, but did you know there really are some real Bailey Schools in the US?
Suzy, when we first wrote Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots Mrs. Jeepers actually did turn into a vampire in the hallway! Our editor thought that was too scary and asked us to change the ending. Do you think it was too scary? We never said how Eddie's mom died. Your story sounds fun, but it must be hard to mop doors! You can play some Bailey School Kids games and get free magazines on my Bailey School Kids page. Best, Debbie

Dear Susie, I was fairly lucky as a kid and wasn't bullied The Worst Name in Third Gradetoo much. I think ANY bullying is too much though, don't you? Hope you have a wonderful bully-free day (unlike Bridgett in The Worst Name in Third Grade), Debbie

Books vs Looks Mermaid Tales #15Dear Alysha, I'm so glad you like Books vs Looks. Do you plan to create your own book club? I think Pearl gave Kiki some cuttlefish candy because she felt bad about starting a club war. Yes, Flower Girl Dreams is out and available now.
Alexis, I am looking forward to visiting your school. It is so cool that you like Sea Monsters Don't Ride Motorcycles. (There are two motorcycles in my garage!)
Sariah, I like fairy tales too! In fact, some of the Bailey School Kids books are based on fairy tales, like Giants Don't Go Snowboarding and Witches Don't Do Backflips. Did you know I am friends with the lady who made the Candy Fairies books? Hope you'll check out my writing page for writing tips. Have a great week, Debbie
