Happy Thanksgiving to all the turkeys (and great kids) out Swamp Monstersthere!  Enjoy your vacation and hope you have lots to be thankful for today.  I am thankful for so many things:  my family and faith and my readers.  Many blessings, Debbie

Hi Katie.  I'm so glad you enjoy my books.  You might like to tell your mom or whoever home schools you that there are teaching units and activities to go along with my books on my Teacher's Page.  Happy Thanksgiving, Debbie

Hi Shreeya, I do have lots of favorite Bailey School Kids books, but this time of the year I must admit Ninjas Don't Bake Pumpkin Pies is one my favorites (we are getting ready Ninja bookto celebrate our holiday of Thanksgiving here in the US) because we often eat pumpkin pie as part of our celebration of thanksgiving for our blessings.
Maya, did you know that Kiki sleeps in a bed made from a killer whale skeleton?  How would you like to sleep in that kind of bed?  Take care, Debbie

Hi Shreeya, hope you are having a relaxing vacation from school.  In the United States, most kids start school with A Whale of a TaleKindergarten around age five, first grade around age six, second grade around age seven, third grade around age eight and so on.  It varies a bit, depending on when you have your birthday.  I'm not sure how old you are, but you can figure out what grade you would be in the USA from that.
My first book was Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots and my newest book is A Whale of a Tale (about visiting a pod of humpback whales).  I think choosing a book depends on what interests you.  So you should take a look at my list of books and pick one that fits what you like.  If you give me some things you like, I can make suggestions.  Have a lovely weekend, Debbie
