Dear Sarah, I'm sorry that Elanor said that to you. If it has just happened once you might do two things: let it go or tell her you didn't like being called that. If it happens more than once, you definitely need to tell her you didn't like it and tell your teacher or a trusted adult. Some people think name calling is funny, but I've learned that it is not. I wrote The Worst Name in Third Grade about a girl who had to deal with someone calling her not very nice names.
Umaiza, congratulations on finishing your story! I am impressed. Publishing means sharing and there are many ways to do it. You could make your own book and illustrations to share with your class or school library.
