Lacie, you are not too old to do something you enjoy. I like reading kid's books and I'm a lot older than you! The inspiration for the Bailey School Kids books came from a bad day of teaching. The kids were goofing off a bit at our school and my friend, Marcia Jones, and I joked to ourselves that if we were monster teachers the kids would behave. That's how we came up with the idea of Mrs. Jeepers! Have a great summer, Debbie

Hi Whitley, I totally agree. There are so many amazing creatures in the ocean. Right now, I'm writing about the vampire squid. It glows in the dark! Ashwin, Honolulu sounds very fun! Did you eat poi? Hope you have a great time at theatre camp. Are you putting on a play? The first story I wrote with my oldest son Nathan was called Slime Wars and I definitely had to talk him into it! Guess what? My youngest son and I are starting on a scary story!
