fall leaves Yippee! School is almost out for Thanksgiving vacation and that means my son Nathan will be coming home from college. Hurrah! We can't wait.
Gabrielle, Marcia Jones and I got the names for most of the Bailey School Kids from one of the biggest sources of names we know-the phone book. It's a great place for character's names. A baby name book is also very helpful. I got the name for The Worst Name in Third Grade from the phone book.

      Thanks to everyone at Bedford Elementary School for making me feel so welcome. Quentan, I hope you like your new books. Madison, I'm fine. How are you? Cali, it takes different amounts of time to write different books. The longest it has taken me was eight years!
     Matthew, your ninja idea was great. Have you seen Ninjas Don't Bake Pumpkin Pie? Ilen, maybe you could ask your librarian to get that one for Thanksgiving. Cameron, what do you think I should write about? Emma, I'm glad you like the Bailey School Kids books. I bet you'd be a great author! Dayann, I'm so glad you think my books are funny. I really like funny stories!
     Damien, I'm glad to hear you wouldn't make a mess like the one in Goblins Don't Play Video Games.   Jamera and Carley, I do think the goblin did it-don't you? Desmond and Daylon, I do think the computer teacher is the Master Goblin-what do you think?
     Jade, we got the name for the Ghostville Elementary series by simply brainstorming. We wrote down every ghosty name we could think of and the one we liked best was Ghostville Elementary. Madison, I'm glad you like Mermaids Don't Run Track. I think mermaids are very interesting. Do you think they are real? Philip, I like your idea. Have you seen my Swamp Monster in Third Grade series?
