Hi Jamie, I don't Skype with individual kids, but would be Twist and Shouthappy to do so with your classroom or book group.  Your teacher could contact me.  Or you could write me via snail mail with longer questions.  The address is Debbie Dadey c/o Simon and Schuster 1230 Avenue of the Americas New York, NY 10020. USA.
Makenzie, I'm so glad you like the Mermaid Tales books.  Caroline, the next book in the series is Twist and Shout, which comes out May 17th, the day before my birthday.  I will ask my editor about words like fintastik.  Does anyone else dislike them or do you like them?  Have a fabulous day, Debbie

The Crook and the Crown Mermaid Tales #13Dear Celeste, I like your idea-did you know that I like popcorn?  Ananbel, this might be a great time for you to read my newest book, The Crook and The Crown.  Something very special disappears and the mergirls must find out what happened to it.  Julia, I didn't mean anything in particular.  Have a blessed day, Debbie
