Hi Melissa, Debbie, and Oji! Ira, I think we all feel stupid sometimes. It's very normal and part of being human. In fact, I'm writing a story right now about a kid who feels rather stupid, but finds out she can change the world in a unique way.
     Yuna, I like to write too! Perhaps you'd like to visit my writing page. Yes, Lauren! I am really ready for warm spring weather! Lynae, I love books too. Do you have a favorite?
     David, I'm so glad you like my stories. Andrew, I wish I could write perfectly the first time, but I do a lot of rewriting to make my stories better. Octavi, my newest book is called A Tale of Two Sisters. If you have a brother or sister you know how hard it can be to get along sometimes. In this Mermaid Tales book, Echo and her sister have an epic fight!

Hi Yemmi, the idea for my very first book came from a bad day. My friend, Marcia Jones and I joked that if we were monster teachers all the kids in our classes would behave. We thought it would be fun to write a story about a teacher who really was some sort of monster and that's where Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots came from! Hope you'll like it.
