Dear Aamina, I must admit that I like all the mermaids in the Mermaid Tales equally. There are things about each that are a bit like me! For instance, Echo is like me because she likes flipping and dancing! Echo is featured in books 2, 6,10, 14 and will be in 18 when it comes out next May. Dear Aiyana, Class Trip to the Haunted House is about a scary visit to an old house. The word ghastly is just another way of saying scary or fearful. Christian, thanks for sharing your story. I hope it was just a story and not real because swinging a golf club could be very dangerous. Stay safe!
Arwen, how exciting that you are writing your own stories. I love the title, Secret of the Tail! Let me know when you are done and I will give you tips. I know what you mean about staying focused on one story. I have the same problem! But sometimes it is good to give yourself a deadline. Say to yourself, I will finish the first draft of this story by the Fourth of July. I am so glad you are enjoying my Mermaid Tales stories! You might also like to visit my writing page.
Elaina, I like dolphins too. I would never swim with one in the wild though because I know wild animals are just that-wild! I did get to swim with one in a special program once though. Dear Finley, I swam with a dolphin once. It was so fun and the dolphin was so beautiful. Your dad sounds fun.
Katelyn, I will be on the lookout for a mermaid water bottle too. I hope you enjoy The Lost Princess. Maybe you'll like to try some of these things this summer.
