Hi Ally, I think it's great that you are reading every day.  My favorite time to read is right before I go to bed.  In fact, I have trouble falling asleep if I haven't said my prayers and Inside the Magicdone some reading.  I used to be a librarian and worked hard to find the perfect book for each student.  It's hard to find one book that is right for everyone.  It depends on what you like.  Do you like sports, humor, mysteries, mermaids, or perhaps fantasy?  If you don't know, you have to try different types of books out.  Some you will like better than others.  Of course, I'm always happy when some likes my books, but I know there are many different types of kid so we need many types of books!  Have a great day off from school!  ttyl, Debbie

Hi Tina.  I just had a new book come out this week.  It's A A Whale of a TaleWhale of a Tale, the third book in my new Mermaid Tales series.  Kiki is scared of one thing-whales.  So when her class gets to go on an ocean trip to see humpback whales she is terrified!  I hope you'll like it and tell your librarian about my new series.   Maybe she'll get it for your library.  It's in hardback, paperback, and on Kindle.  Have a great school year!  ttyl, Debbie

When I was ten years old I watched my family's black and white TVMrs. Jeepers in Outer Space.  It showed astronaut Neil Armstrong taking a step on the moon.  He had no idea what would happen.  It was the first time man had ever set foot on the moon!  His famous words were, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."  He died on Saturday.  Because of him, I went to Space Camp with my son Nathan.  We had a lot of adventures, some that made me want to throw up!  I included them in the book, Mrs. Jeepers in Outer Space.  Wishing you many adventures, Debbie Dadey
