Yeah Darcy, I'm so glad you like the Mermaid Tales books. Guess what? In the upcoming book 13, Shelly and her friends go to visit Queen Edwina in Neptune's castle.      Hi Lauren, Marcia and I once thought about doing a Tooth Fairies book, but Scholastic didn't go for the idea. Your idea is very fun. I hope we get to write it!
     Debbie, did you know that I am from Kentucky too? I hope to be in Frankfort, KY in November for the Kentucky Book Fair. If you live close, I hope you'll be able to come. There aren't any Mermaid Tales toys yet, but that sounds like a great idea. There are Mermaid Tales T-shirts. Your parents can order them here.

Dear Lauren, it would be fun to write another Bailey School Kids book. Yes, we did write Witches Don't Do Backflips and Wizards Don't Need Computers.
Andrew, I hope you enjoy Genies Don't Ride Bicycles (my mom's favorite) and Pirates Don't Wear Pink Sunglasses. I must like pirates, because I've written two other pirate books.
