Dear Uditi, I'm so glad you love Slime Wars.  Nathan and I The Slime Warshad a good time writing it (after a rocky start).  We also wrote the book Slime Time
Andrew, you are so kind.  Sometimes writing can be hard, but sometimes SO fun.  I think it is a bit like a puzzle.  I need to get the right pieces in the right order for the story to work.
Happy Earth Day.  Do something to take care of our planet:  recycle something, pick up some trash, or reuse something!  Best, Debbie

Hi Alyssa, do you have a favorite book of mine?  Andrew, Marcia and I aren't working on a book together right now, but I hope we will soon.  I am working on two books-one with a friend and one by myself.  Both of them are tough right now!  I put one away for a while and hope when I come back to it I'll be inspired.  Hope I'll see you guys at my booksigning this weekend in Bethlehem, PA.  Keeping my fingers crossed, Debbie

Witches Don't Do BackflipsDear Mr. Miller, thanks so much for writing.  I hope your student enjoyed Witches Don't Do Backflips.  Perhaps you'd like me to SKYPE or visit your school some day.
Lavo, I'm so glad you enjoy the Bailey School Kids and Bailey City Monsters books.  Do you have a favorite?  Isabella, you might like to visit my writing page.  Good luck with your writing!
Arianna and Jessica, it is very exciting that you both have a new baby sister.  Congratulations!  Jenisha, how cool is it that you saw the Great Wall of China?  Very cool!
Sameeha and Kathryn, I'm thrilled that you like the Mermaid Tales books.  Sameeha, wouldn't it be cool to ride a humpback whale like in A Whale of a Tale?  Kathryn, who knows?  Maybe mermaids are real!  Have a great week, Debbie

Ha!  I like the name Mr. Mustache Man, the Superhero-but I like Lauren the Blue Kiwi too.  It would be cool to be a superhero, in fact the story I'm writing right now it sort of like that.  Jenisha, it must be exciting to travel to so many different places.  I have been to Mexico, Greece, and Egypt, but I've never been to China or Vietnam.  I always thought it The Secret Sea Horsewould be fun to see the Great Wall of China in person.  Did you get to see it?  How do you go to school if you travel so much?
Noni, I am so sorry to hear about your mom.  You certainly have a right to feel sad and I understand that.  I will keep you and your mom in my prayers.  I will be thinking of you.
Madison, the Secret Sea Horse is about Echo who wants a sea horse and Rocky who has one.  It's also about whether sea horses should be kept as pets and Echo failing her spelling test.  I always wanted a horse and I did fail a spelling test!
Andrew, it is a rainy day where I live in Pennsylvania-a perfect day to read and write.  I am having some trouble with the story I am working on.  I thought what I had written was pretty good, but my critique group suggested a lot of changes.  It's back to work!  Hi Jessica!  Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Next weekend I'll be autographing books in Bethlehem, PA at the YAFest.  Hope I'll see some of you there, Debbie
