The Lost Princess Dear Jessica P., I did have a nice Thanksgiving, but I do not care for cranberry sauce. I once met someone who grew up on a cranberry farm. It was interesting hearing about her life.
Zidi, I think I am a bit like Shelly because I like sports. I also think it would be pretty cool to be a princess!
Huria, I hope you have fun on your field trip. New York City is so big, I wonder what you will see. Francine, I had a friend a while ago that suggested I needed a logo and she said that since my books appealed to even the most reluctant readers that should be my logo, or motto. Do you agree? Dear Ellie, I enjoy being an author. I love making up Dream of the Blue Turtle stories. The hard part for me is changing them to make them better-rewriting! My friend, Marcia Jones, and I wrote a book called Mermaids Don't Run Track. I enjoyed learning mermaid myths. So when an editor asked me to write a mermaid series, I thought it would be great fun and it is! I learned that some mermaids can see into the future (like Kiki in Dream of the Blue Turtle).
